This step will focus on the development of an assessment plan used throughout the process. It will be designed to allow clients to both efficiently and effectively know where they are and learn how to apply answers to this question on an ongoing basis.
Assessment tools might include the following:
- Interviews
(both one-on-one and focus groups)
- Surveys (either or both on-line
and paper-based) designed to meet your needs.
- The Hay Group's
Emotional Competency Inventory Tool (and instrument for 360 degree
analysis)
- Social Network Analysis tools that allow for both
informal and formal mapping of communication patterns and assessment
of resource use.
- A skills assessment tool focused on parsing out
alignment between roles and both individual and collective expertise.
- Quantitative data such as performance metrics specific
to the intended outcomes of an individual or an organization.
