Kathleen Doucette is one of the founders of True North Group, a consulting company that provides leadership training, executive coaching, team building, strategic change plans, process improvements and redesign.

In her role as an executive coach, Doucette enables clients to craft a professional life that is based on their own passions and dreams. Organizations benefit as a result of increased levels of performance and creativity. Doucette creates an opportunity for her clients to identify and build on their strengths, take risks and utilize their individual talents to achieve professional success. Just as an athletic coach creates structure, builds skills and provides support, Doucette offers clients the tools to reach professional goals that mirror their personal values and support the vision of their organizations. As a former psychotherapist, Doucette brings twenty-five years of experience to her understanding of human dynamics and personality. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Syracuse University along with a number of advanced certificates and extensive training in short term, high impact intervention. Emotional Intelligence is the foundation of her approach to coaching. She is accredited to administer the Emotional Competence Inventory, a 360 degree feedback instrument designed by the Hay Group of Boston. Her varied experience has given her a rich understanding of human motivation that will directly benefit those working within an organizational structure. As a coach it is not enough to identify an individual’s goals. One must also be able to understand the “roadblocks” individuals establish which hamper the achievement of their aspirations and the efforts of their companies. As coach, Ms. Doucette assists individuals to develop strategies to remove these roadblocks and achieve excellence for themselves and their organizations.
