Michael D’Eredita is one of the founders of True North Group, a consulting company that provides leadership training, executive coaching, team building, strategic change plans, process improvements and redesign.

As a “coach” of both leaders and teams, D’Eredita enables clients to collectively perform. He assumes that teams are the fundamental working unit within any organization. D’Eredita helps clients align individual strengths with the needs of the team and organization. Organizations benefit as a result of increased levels of efficiency, performance, and innovation. He helps clients develop tangible approaches to complex and socially dynamic problems by helping them answer fundamental questions like: Who are we? Where are we? To where are we going? How do we get there?

As an international rowing coach and assistant professor, D’Eredita brings over 15 years of practical and theoretical experience to his understanding of human and social dynamics. He has helped teams across multiple cultures, behavioral barriers, and/or changing contingencies reliably find success as both a head coach of two foreign national teams and development coach in the United States of America.

He holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Cognitive Psychology and Bachelors of Science in Physics. His published research on high performance teams and expertise addresses behavior within both face-to-face and distributed environments and has been presented around the world.
