As a principal in True North Group Susan Burgess brings 25 years of experience to her role as executive coach. Susan has worked with clients in all aspects of organization development including facilitation, leadership, change management, group and team development, training design and delivery, and process improvement. Clients have included the Boeing Airplane Company, Hewlett Packard, Capital One, and the State of New York’s Departments of Labor & Education, and New York State Consul of School Superintendents (NYSCOSS).

Her work in academia and psychology as well as her years as a marketing senior executive make her uniquely suited for her role. The coaching process includes careful assessment to determine her client’s developmental focus and the organizational expectations. Work with clients is guided by measures to monitor progress. Susan knows that individual coaching coupled with a coherent leadership development program ensures sustained growth and is one of the most effective ways to enhance performance.

Susan holds a masters degree in education which she has successfully applied in corporate and academic settings. She also has a masters degree in psychology with a focus on organizational behavior as well as individual development. She has worked with a variety of consulting groups including Deltapoint in Seattle, Washington and Conversant in Boulder, Colorado.
